Our colleagues in France have put together a rugby tournament for the 2012 season.

The new rugby season is going to start soon and again, teams will compete, will try to give their best rugby on the pitch and will celebrate victories all together….

No pain, no game. No rugby, no friendship and no camaraderie.

 

We are pleased to invite your club to the Rugby Tournament of the Medieval Provins that will be organised in 2012 on the 14th & 15th April.

 

2 day- event: Saturday and Sunday next April!

International Rugby EVENT open to U15, U14 & U17,U16′ rugby teams (players born in 1997-1998 and 1995-1996).

Provins, a medieval village situated in the East of Paris, near Disneyland Resort.

Details and Format:

16 TEAMS PER CATEGORY

OVER 12 DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES EVERY YEAR (France, Belgium, England, Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Italy, Sweden, Russia, Switzerland, Romania, Luxembourg…)

No chance here to play teams you already play in your league!

The tournament starts on the Saturday 9am and is played in Paris, Provins.. Games finish on the Saturday around 6.30pm and they start again on Sunday from 9am. The tournament ends at 6pm on the Sunday.

 

It’s a rugby tournament open to U15, U14 & U17,U16′ rugby teams.

The Tournament is well organised and is a “must be” for rugby teams.

Travel and Sport will liaise with our French partners to organise accommodation and transfers as well as matches and meals for your school rugby tour.

Provins is a genuine medieval village. It has a very special atmosphere and is registered at the UNESCO HERITAGE. The host club is very friendly and your school rugby team will feel at ease.

Playing in this tournament is not only a tour, it’s an experience! Parents can enjoy a scenic and magical area. For kids, it’s also a good opportunity to discover Paris and play rugby in Paris. Euro Disney is just around the corner and Travel and Sport can do an add on for your school rugby team.

Registration from the 1st of September 2011 for teams that wish to attend. Space is limited.

Accommodation in a Castle half board. (Breakfast and dinner included) and meals at the club.

So the week-end is FULL BOARD.
