Day 1 Johannesburg – Los Angeles
Depart from OR Tambo International Airport on flight to Los Angeles.
Day 2 Los Angeles
Arrive in Los Angeles at Los Angeles International Airport.
Meet and greet by local Guide at the airport. He will then take the group to the awaiting motor coach.
From the airport you will enjoy a city sightseeing tour.
Los Angeles is the most populous city in California. Often known by its initials, LA, and nicknamed the ‘City of Angels’, Los Angeles is a world centre of business, international trade, entertainment, culture, media, fashion, science, technology and education.
Transfer to Foghorn Harbour Inn Marina Del Rey, where you will be staying for the next 3 nights.

Day 3 Los Angeles
Breakfast at leisure
After breakfast you will board your coach which will transfer you to your first excursion of the day, the technical tour of an Animation Studio.

In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Universal Studios Hollywood.
Universal Studios Hollywood is a movie studio and theme park in the unincorporated Universal City community of Los Angeles. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood movie studios still in use. It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios soundstages and sets. It is the first of many fully – fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks located across the world. Woody Woodpecker is the mascot for Universal Studios Hollywood.
Day 4 Los Angeles

After breakfast, the entire day will be spent exploring and enjoying what Disneyland has to offer.
Walt Disney came up with the concept of Disneyland after visiting various amusement parks with his daughters in the 1930s and 1940s. He initially envisioned building a tourist attraction adjacent to his studios in Burband to entertain fans who wished to visit; however, he soon realized that the proposed site was too small. After hiring a consultant to help determine an appropriate site for his project, Walt bought a 160-acre site near Anaheim in 1953. Construction started in 1954 and the park was unveiled during a special televised press event on July 17, 1955. Disneyland has a larger cumulative attendance than any other theme park in the world, with close to 600 million guests since it opened.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and board your private coach for your transfer to San Francisco.

Stop in Monterey on the way for a 1-hour walking tour of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Carmel-by-the-Sea, often called simply Carmel, is a small city in Monterey County, California, United States, founded in 1902 and incorporated in 1916. Situated on the Monterey Peninsula, the town is known for its natural scenery and rich artistic history. Carmel is also known for several unusual laws, including a prohibition on wearing high-heel shoes without a permit, enacted to prevent lawsuits arising from tripping accidents caused by irregular pavement.
Day 6 San Francisco

After breakfast, board your private coach for your full day City Tour of San Francisco. Enjoy a Cable Car Ride. This tour also includes a visit to the California Academy of Sciences and a ferry trip to Alcatraz Prison.
The California Academy of Sciences is among the largest museums of natural history in the world. The academy began in 1853 as a learned society and still carries out a large amount of original research, with exhibits and education becoming significant endeavors of the museum during the twentieth century.
From the mid 1930′s until the mid 1960′s, Alcatraz was America’s premier maximum-security prison, the final stop for the nation’s most incorrigible inmates. There were, however, prisoners who decided not to wait for a transfer to another prison. Over the 29 years (1934-1963) that the Federal prison operated, 36 men (including two who tried to escape twice) were involved in 14 separate escape attempts. Twenty-three were caught, six were shot and killed during their escape, and two drowned. The only man to ever escape Alcatraz was Frank Lee Morris in 1962.

After breakfast, board your coach for your transfer to the Southern part of San Francisco Bay area, San Jose, to enjoy a full day exploring Silicon Valley. This includes a technical visit to IT Company, the Tech Museum as well as the Educational Program
at the
Intel Museum in Santa Carla.
Silicon Valley is in the southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area. The region is home to many of the world’s largest technology corporations. The term originally referred to the region’s large number of silicon chip innovators and manufacturers, but eventually came to refer to all the high-tech businesses in the area; it is now generally used as a metonym for the American high-tech sector. Despite the development of other high-tech economic centers throughout the United States and the world, Silicon Valley continues to be the leading hub for high-tech innovation and development, accounting for 1/3 of all of the venture capital investment in the United States.[
Day 8 San Francisco – Seattle
Breakfast at your hotel
After breakfast you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Seattle.
On arrival in Seattle you will be met a local guide. Board your private coach and enjoy the half day City Tour. This tour includes a visit to the Space Needle Observation Deck.
The Space Needle is a tower in Seattle and is a major landmark of the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and a symbol of Seattle. Located at the Seattle Centre, it was built for the 1962 World’s Fair, during which time nearly 20,000 people a day used the elevators, with over 2.3 million visitors in all for the World Fair. The Space Needle is 184m high at its highest point, and 42m wide at its widest point. When it was completed it was the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River. It is built to withstand winds of up to 89m/s and earthquakes of up to 9.1 magnitudes.
After your tour, transfer to the Hampton Inn Seattle Down Town where you will be spending the next 3 nights.
Day 9 Seattle

After breakfast, you will be taken on a Ferry Transfer to Tillicum Island. Here you will visit Tillicum Village on Blake Island for a Native American show and fresh salmon bake lunch.
This afternoon visit the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum.
The Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame is a museum dedicated to the history and exploration of both popular music and science fiction. Experience Music Project (EMP) was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.
Day 10 Seattle
Breakfast at hotel
After breakfast you will be taken on a guided full day city tour. The tour will include visits to Microsoft Campus Visiting Centre, Future of Flight Aviation Centre & Boeing Factory Tour and a visit to a Software development company.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center is an aviation museum and education center. It is the starting point for the Boeing Tour, a tour of a portion of Boeing’s Everett, Washington production facility in which the models 747, 767, 777 and 787 are built. It is also home of the Future of Flight Foundation, a non-profit organization that owns the museum’s collection and engages in worldwide education outreach.
Day 11 Seattle – Johannesburg

Transfer to Seattle International Airport. Depart on your international flight from Seattle to Johannesburg.
